Technology solutions for enhanced impact measurement for a foundation active with smallholder farmers
Client Challenge
A foundation conducting a large training programme for smallholder coffee farmers needed our assistance in selecting the best technology solution for it programme monitoring and evaluation activities.
VfG Contribution
- Identified key data and usability requirements for an ideal monitoring and evaluation system
- Mapped ideal information flow between monitoring, oversight and programme design that would enable interative programme improvements to ultimately have a positive impact on smallholder livelihoods
- Benchmarked relevant technology solutions and conducted key review discussions with short-listed players to facilitate the selection process
- Going forward, we will accompany the software‘s implementation
