Strategy and impact management coaching for an animal rights organisation

Client Challenge

An animal rights organisation wanted to review its strategy to align advocacy campaigns with impact and improve fundraising efforts.

VfG Contribution
  • Analysed key trends related to animal rights (from protecting wildlife to farm animals to domestic pets) and the interests of key stakeholders (politicians, general public, businesses) to identify core impact areas and activities to focus on going forward. 
  • Conducted a cost-effectiveness analysis across advocacy campaigns to identify which tactics should be stopped, started or continued
  • Carried out a rigorous external benchmark exercise to develop a clearer positioning of the organisation within the animal rights advocacy space. 
  • Facilitated workshops with campaign teams to implement the strategy through clear theories of change and metrics per impact area.
