Value for Good Impact Academy for foundations & NGOs
Client Challenge
Many foundations and NGOs need support in sharpening their impact strategy, operational KPIs and monitoring, learning and evaluation processes to ensure they better manage their impact. At the same time, many wish to learn what IT tools are out there to help them do this efficiently and effectively.
VfG Contribution
- In 2018, Value for Good created an impact academy to address this challenge that can be tailored to meet organisation‘s needs:
- Standard impact academy: up to 5 participating foundations or NGOs, 3 modules, 2 days each, covering a 6-month period complemented with 1:1 coaching
- Tailored impact academy: for an individual organisation – modules adapted to meet specific needs
- Impact academy light: focused training workshop on a specific impact management aspect
Impact on Client & Society
- Improved impact management by participating NGOs and foundations, leading to more positive impact on beneficiaries
- Just three months after the impact academy 79% of participants report improved understanding of impact measurement; 55% have more efficient data collection and 54% have improved their performance management
