Interested in a job in impact consulting? As an impact consultant at VfG, you advise leading organisations utilising strategy consulting tools and frameworks adjusted for societal impact.

Based in Berlin, performing beyond - create value for good with us.

CAREER PATHS

We go beyond on-the-job learning: we provide diverse learning experiences, extensive feedback cycles, a personal development advisor and a personal training budget for each team member. We offer paths of development for everyone:

To best equip you for your start as consultant at VfG, we allocate a personal onboarding buddy, organize 1:1 onboarding as well as weekly starter trainings.

As a Junior Consultant, you‘ll take on responsibility early on and have direct client exposure, allowing you a steep learning curve. You‘ll work closely with experienced mentors and teams, developing your skills while making a meaningful difference through our projects.

As Consultant or Senior Consultant, you‘ll contribute to impactful projects where your ideas and opinions are highly valued. You will work with leading organisations from the private, social and public sector.

You are staffed on 2-3 projects in parallel, giving you a broad exposure to different types of impact projects and topics, as well as a larger range of personal development opportunities.

We offer lateral entry for senior talent at the Project Leader and Principal levels. You‘ll combine your deep content knowledge in social impact with your extensive consulting experience to drive change for our clients.

You take full ownership of entire projects, support in business development, and guide a team of consultants.

Fluency in German is considered a strong asset at VfG. A good command of written and spoken English is a must.

The process kicks off 1-2 weeks after applying for one of our current openings. During an intro call, you can discover more about consulting at VfG and ask any questions you may have. If there is a fit, we will proceed with the application process, which - for consultants - includes a practical exercise and case interviews.

Early on in the application process, we will share with you the salary level based on your tenure and topic expertise. At VfG, we use a transparent salary grid applicable to all and reflecting each experience level. In addition to salary, we offer non-financial benefits.
