Ninon Demuth is Associate at Value for Good. Originally from the Lower Saxony, she lived, studied and worked in New Zealand, South Korea, Ireland, England and Germany. She brings experiences from the private and social sector, as well as from co-founding a non-profit organization.
Ninon’s academic background lies in Engineering – she pursued a master’s degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge after studying Biotechnology in Berlin and South Korea. During her studies, she placed greater focus on sustainable development and strategic management, and through her research helped tackling issues of mental health by supporting the launch of a diagnostic innovation through market analysis.
In 2013, Ninon co-founded Über den Tellerrand, an NGO promoting refugee integration and active civil engagement in Germany (ueberdentellerrand.org). While building up the organization from scratch together with her team, she particularly focused on organizational growth and scaling up impact, as well as media outreach. In 2014, Ninon was awarded a place in the Forbes 30 under 30 List of European Social Entrepreneurs.
Ninon is familiar with the challenges and hurdles that come with growing social businesses. At Value for Good she seeks to apply her experiences in order to support and empower purpose-oriented businesses and individuals in creating sustainable impact.
