Max is Senior Advisor at Value for Good and a senior international manager in the private sector. Max combines more than 10 years’ experience in the strategy consultancy of a major international technology company as a Senior Partner with a strong background in Public Policy and Economics and a passion for social impact and people development. Besides his native Germany, Max has worked and studied in China (5 years), the UK (3 years) and the USA (3+ years) and enjoys building bridges across cultures.
Max is an experienced leader of large organizations, responsible for managing teams of more than 200 people internationally and has driven more than 100 projects in Europe, Asia and the USA with a focus on digitalization in the healthcare, manufacturing and energy arenas. His main expertise lies in the area of strategy, innovation and organization development, as well as sustainability and government affairs.
Max cares deeply about people development and is a passionate trainer and coach, with teaching awards from his time as a Teaching Fellow in Economics at Harvard University. Prior to his work in the private sector, Max has done various stints in a German State Parliament, a German Federal Ministry and a Public Law Office.
Max holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University (USA) and an M.A./B.A. in Land Economy (Economics, Law, Environment) from the University of Cambridge (UK). He speaks fluent German and English, advanced French and basic Chinese.
