Malte Bedürftig collaborates with Value for Good on a variety of projects. Malte has ten years of consulting experience and is founder and CEO of Germany’s leading non‐profit startup GoVolunteer. As a freelance consultant he supports companies, public institutions and non-profits on business strategy, social responsibility and organizational development.
Malte studied economics, politics and law. He started his career with McKinsey & Company in 2009. During his consulting work, he focused on projects in the public and social sector while developing a spike area in digital technologies. In 2015, Malte founded the social startup GoVolunteer.com, a country-wide volunteering platform, to realize his vision of an active society in which everyone can transform their unique potential into social action. He has lead the venture to grow into a successful non-profit organization with 35 employees coordinating more than 3,000 integration projects in 200 cities.
