Assessing “soft change”: measuring awareness and shifts in mindset

Client: German non-profit association


We helped a German not-for-profit association design and conduct online surveys to participants of an educational research journey.

Surveys were administered before, immediately after and several months after the trip.  These were used to generate quantitative as well as qualitative data. It made it possible to measure the impact the programme had on improving participants’ knowledge base and changing their mindset

Through this assessment, the association was able to provide its donors with solid evidence of the programme’s effectiveness and improved its chance of securing longer-term funding.
