Setting up an impact measurement system for an American non-profit

Client: Harpswell Foundation

Since 2006, the Harpswell Foundation has been providing housing, education and leadership training to female university students in Cambodia with the goal of empowering a new generation of women leaders in the country. On a pro bono basis, Value for Good is helping Harpswell set up an impact measurement system to determine whether Harpswell is reaching its short-term, medium-term and long-term goals.

In a workshop with Harpswell’s Board Members in New York, we helped define the Theory of Change of Harpswell. Based on this, we outlined output, outcome and impact indicators and developed measurement tools, including surveys.

Our work is intended to help the Harpswell Foundation verify the impact of its activities in order to continuously improve its services and attract further funding.
